Who is Samantha?
Samantha is a valuable member of the Private Client Services team at Elements Financial. She describes herself as detail driven with an extreme sense of urgency and pride for our member experience! She always wants to serve as a true team player.
What Does Samantha Do?
She assists the Private Client Officers and the members of Elements they serve with many of their daily banking needs. She opens new accounts, sends wires, transfers funds, and makes loan payments for members. She handles many of the backend and operational functions for the department.
Beyond her direct role at Elements, Samantha is a significant contributor on the Employee Engagement Committee (EEC) for our company, which plans the popular social events that strengthen our culture throughout the year. She also assists the PROCU Board with planning and organizing their annual conference in Southern California, as well as taking their monthly Board call minutes. This is a trade organization that promotes credit union investment and insurance programs.
When and Why Did Samantha Join Elements?
Joining Elements in April of 2019, Samantha wanted to work here because of the people. We have many different departments in the company, and she says “we all work together well and do a great job at collaborating.”
Why Does Samantha Enjoy Elements?
She enjoys her coworkers and seeing our members happy! Also, she attributes the award-winning culture at Elements for keeping her here.
Where Can You Find Samantha Beyond Work?
Outside of work, you can find Samantha hanging out with friends or family; enjoying fun restaurants; going to concerts or sporting events; walking or doing Zumba classes; or traveling when she gets a chance.
The top spot on her bucket list is Italy. She would love to take a month to travel the whole country someday. This year, she has a Caribbean cruise planned for December with family. One of her favorite places to visit is Seabrook Island, South Carolina. It is about 30 minutes outside of Charleston, where it is nice and quiet. As a child, she would go there often for summer vacations.
What are Some "Fun Facts" About Samantha?
Samantha attended Indiana University where she was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority and served as their Operations Chair, which relates to her current career. Also, she reports that she has not experienced any broken bones or the need for stitches in her lifetime. (Now everyone, please knock on wood for Samantha to continue her lucky streak!)
