Who is Anthony?
Anthony Love is our Executive Assistant and a member of three different Elements Committees, including the EEC, Elements Cares, and the Safety Committee. He also recently started the Member Advantage course.
He states, “I try to insert myself in any available training that’s offered to grow my knowledge of the credit union business.”
Anthony is always willing to jump in and help wherever needed. He uses his top five CliftonStrengths in Woo, Empathy, Developer, Individualization, and Communication, to spread love and positivity in the best way he can!
What does Anthony do?
His core responsibilities include supporting all eight members of the Executive Team as their liaison, confidant, calendar manager, and general task completer.
He also helps organize the monthly board meeting packet and serves as the minute-taker for important meetings. That support spreads across the credit union.
Anthony is more than happy to step in and help our employees in whatever way they need. He describes himself as a “professional barrier buster,” saying that no two days are ever the same.
When did Anthony join Elements?
Anthony has been with the credit union for 11 months. Before joining Elements as an Executive Assistant, he began his professional career as an elementary school teacher. After four years of teaching, he started working at Amazon, climbing the ranks from a night shift warehouse worker to an Executive Assistant on the corporate side. This role allowed him to move around the country, living in Austin, Texas, and Nashville, Tennessee. He eventually found himself moving back to Indianapolis to support his mother after his father’s passing, and that’s when he discovered Elements Financial.
Why does Anthony enjoy working at Elements?
Anthony applies his strengths in his role daily. Whether it’s winning others over with his Woo, building connections through his Empathy, or getting to know what makes each person unique with Individualization, Anthony knows how to hone in on what he’s good at while staying open to exploring new things.
I love being able to help people and socialize with colleagues. Every day is a new adventure!
Where can we find Anthony?
Anthony enjoys playing video games, camping, swimming, listening to music, watching sports, and spending time with his loved ones. He emphasizes the importance of checking in on your loved ones: “To be loved by people is one of the most special things in the world.” He also loves to explore the city. You can find him cheering on our local teams at a sports game or walking around downtown Indy.
What are some "fun facts" about Anthony?
- Anthony loves to sing, and he originally went to school for music education. Local karaoke machines have been put on notice!
- Graduating from college was one of his greatest achievements to date. He worked hard to put himself through school while also working full-time with minimal financial aid. Although he’s still paying off the loans himself, it opened many doors for him, and he says that it was absolutely worth it!
- In 2020, Anthony lost his best friend to domestic violence. He shares this tragic experience to raise awareness for others who may be in unsafe relationships. He says, “This experience really taught me to love my friends and family harder. You never know what might happen to someone. If you’re mad at someone or have a fight with someone you love, remember to apologize. You never know when the last time you see or say something to someone will be, so leave everyone with love and respect.”
