Brooke Kersey, Consumer Loan Originator

The Human Elements Behind Our Success

Who is Brooke?

Brooke Kersey is a Consumer Loan Originator at Elements, known for her strong performance and dedication to member service. During a recent loan promotion, she achieved over $2 million in loan volume and helped members with more than 100 products. Brooke leads with her strengths—Consistency, Restorative, Developer, Empathy, and Includer—bringing care and reliability to everything she does.

What does Brooke do?

As a Consumer Loan Originator, Brooke collects all the information needed to underwrite consumer loans for our members. Once the information is approved and the loan is ready to be finalized, she calls the member to go over the loan details. Elements also partners with Route 66 and Allied Solutions to protect members in life events. Brooke is trained to offer coverages such as extended warranties, tire and wheel coverage, total loss protection, and debt protection at the time of closing.

When did Brooke join Elements?

Brooke has been with the credit union for over six years. Prior to finding Elements through an online job posting, she worked as an Assistant Branch Manager at Citizens Bank for 17 years.

Why does Brooke enjoy working at Elements?

“I love to be member facing because I get to see the reaction of how Elements positively impacts our members,” she expressed. Three of her top strengths are in the “Relationship Building” category. Working as a Consumer Loan Originator, Brooke is constantly building relationships. Whether it’s with members, new employees of the credit union who have loan questions, or outside vendors, she views her Relationship Building strength as a natural gift, which is a huge part of what our member-facing staff do at Elements.

Where can we find Brooke?

When Brooke isn’t helping members get loans, she is usually at home with her family, including her two Dachshunds and three black cats. She also enjoys gardening, riding her SXS, and hanging out at her daughter’s house.

What are some “fun facts” about Brooke?

  1. Brooke and her husband are recent empty nesters. They have two adult children and a beautiful three-year-old granddaughter.
  2. They live on 10 acres in Morgan County, which requires a lot of maintenance, keeping Brooke outdoors often.
  3. Brooke and her husband have owned an off-road vehicle for five years and enjoy riding on the trails on their property.
