Who is Magee?

Magee is a Data Integration and Analytics Manager at Elements. She’s actively involved with several committees, including Elements Cares, Purpose Day, and Volunteerism subcommittees. During a recent shift in our IT department, Magee leaned into teamwork, picking up new responsibilities and keeping the department moving forward. Her top strengths are Empathy, Intellection, Relator, Input, and Adaptability.

What does Magee do?

In her role, Magee leads a team that connects data across systems and turns it into useful insights. “I make sure our data is accurate, accessible, and aligned with business goals,” she explains. She sets priorities for her team and supports their growth, all while ensuring they collaborate well with other departments to deliver what is needed.

When did Magee join Elements?

Magee joined Elements after leaving her 17 year long Data Solutions role at a large engineering firm based in Colorado. “A hiring partner found my resume on LinkedIn at the perfect time! My previous company had been bought out, and I was thinking about switching to a local company – Elements checked all the boxes!” she shared.

Why does Magee enjoy working at Elements?

Magee enjoys the variety in her role, saying, “There’s always something new to learn or figure out, which keeps things interesting.” She also appreciates the culture and how it supports a healthy work-life balance.

Magee leverages her strengths daily. Whether it’s using her Empathy or Relator strength to build relationships, or using Intellection and Input to dive into data challenges and explore new tools and ideas, Magee finds purpose in both her role in IT and at Elements.

Where can we find Magee?

Magee enjoys cooking, hiking, and travelling as much as possible. You’re likely to find her volunteering at the Indianapolis Public Library, walking her dog, or attending local theater productions. She frequently visits national and state parks, particularly out West, for the beautiful ocean and mountain scenery.

What are some "fun facts" about Magee?

• Magee only has ten more states to visit before she completes her goal of visiting all 50 states. “I want to see the night sky from the bottom of the Grand Canyon, I want to see the Northern Lights, and I want to see the breaching great whites off the coast of South Africa,” she exclaims.
• Magee is a huge bookworm. Last year, she read over 100 books! Volunteering at the library is a nice way for Magee to stay involved. 
• One of her most memorable experiences was volunteering at the Humane Society in Boise, where she got to take an adoptable pet on the local news each week as a feature of their “Pet of the Week.”
