Elements Financial is proud to serve our members and the community. Each year, we donate 1% of our annual net income to nonprofit organizations in the Central Indianapolis area.
Our Elements Cares Committee partners with the Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF) to review grant applications and select charities that best align with one or more of our corporate “Pillars of Giving” – Homelessness & Housing, Youth Development, and Healthy Lifestyles.
This year, with a grant budget of $100,000, our team chose four outstanding organizations to receive funding in support of their community projects.
Take a look at our 2025 Grant Recipients:
$27,500 | Home Repairs for Good
Home Repairs for Good provides free, safety-critical home repairs to eligible homeowners across Central Indiana. In 2024, they completed over 800 home repairs, with help from trained staff, contractors, workforce development trainees, and more than 600 volunteers. This grant will help expand their service area south of Washington Street – just a block south of Elements headquarters.
$27,500 | Englewood Community Development Corporation
Englewood Community Development Corporation (CDC) offers a range of affordable housing options in the Englewood neighborhood. Next year, Englewood CDC plans to partner with Wheeler Mission to complete the construction of Bridges Townhomes. This housing project will provide move-in ready homes for 43 families, with 11 of those families transitioning out of homelessness. With this grant, they can completely furnish the 11 remaining units for the families in need.
$25,000 | Center for Leadership Development
The Center for Leadership Development (CLD) is dedicated to fostering the growth of minority youth in Central Indiana as future professionals, business leaders, and community leaders. This donation will support their College Prep Institute (CPI), a free, comprehensive college readiness resource center for minority students. Additionally, it will help expand CPI’s reach, allowing more young people to set meaningful goals and achieve lifelong success.
$20,000 | Coburn Place Safe Haven
Coburn Place is Indiana’s largest provider of long-term housing and supports women and children recovering from homelessness due to abuse. Last year, Coburn Place served over 100 families with two years of rent-free housing across more than 15 zip codes. This donation will support ongoing funding efforts to keep survivors safe, housed, and on the path to permanent housing stability.
We recognize that our members and community shape the culture and brand at Elements. We’re proud to work with organizations making a difference in our shared neighborhoods. We thank each of them for their efforts and positive impact!
