At Elements, our commitment to service goes beyond financial products—it extends into our community. As a credit union rooted in community, we take pride in making a positive impact in the neighborhoods where we live and work.
Purpose Day is our chance to step away from the office and give back with time, talent, and treasure. Each year, we focus on non-profit organizations that align with one or more of our corporate Pillars of Giving, which include:
- Healthy Lifestyles
- Homelessness and Housing
- Youth Development
On this year’s Purpose Day, Elements employees rolled up their sleeves to volunteer at various non-profit partners across Central Indiana. Here’s a look at where we served:
- Aspire Higher Foundation: Volunteers beautified outdoor spaces through landscaping work.
- Bosma: A team helped landscape the Bosma corporate building to prep for their upcoming golf scramble kickoff meeting.
- Brightlane Learning: Elements volunteers organized bookshelves, created paper books and cutouts, and put together curriculum for kids.
- Camp Jameson: A group of volunteers landscaped the campgrounds to help get the site ready for its summer sessions.
- The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation: Two groups of volunteers contributed by shelving books and handling light office tasks, including dusting and scanning donated books to identify high value finds.
- Humane Society of Johnson County: A team helped clean and organize the barn and surrounding animal care areas.
- United Way of Johnson County: Elements volunteers painted and freshened up their main office.
- Second Helpings: Volunteers prepared meals and assembled sandwiches for neighbors facing food insecurity.
In addition to volunteering, Elements donated $1,000 to each organization to help cover project supplies. Any remaining funds were provided to the nonprofits to further support their missions.
A huge thank you to our Purpose Day committee and every participating team member of Elements!
