Elements Financial's 2nd Annual Purpose Day

Elements Financial's 2nd Annual Purpose Day
Elements Financial presented their 2nd Annual Purpose Day, where 180 credit union employees gave back to the community through meaningful projects and experiences.

Elements Financial, their six Indiana branches and a handful of remote employees used Columbus Day as an opportunity to press pause on daily operations and serve the less fortunate. Staff gathered at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in the building carrying their very own name, the Elements Financial Blue Ribbon Pavilion.

Last year was Elements’ inaugural Purpose Day, however, this year the company already chose to expand the event by adding two additional partner organizations. There was a total of six local nonprofits represented at the event. This day of service was crafted by their Human Resources and Marketing teams with the goal of employees bonding, serving nonprofits in a creative way, and equipping employees with a new perspective of issues facing the local community. Aside from service projects, employees participated in poverty stimulations conducted by the United Way.

At each organization, staff delivered a surprise $1,250 donation and heard about future volunteer opportunities. It is important that Elements employees are exposed to these opportunities so that they can utilize their additional 8 hours of volunteer paid-time-off this year.
